Available in 2 weights and 2 different spin characteristics, they offer the performance and feel similar to MCI irons. The SOLID option is the higher spinning option of the two and the MILD is the lower spinning option. In the new MCI (Metal Composite Irons), Metal Composite Technology was developed to combine the best attributes of steel and graphite into one revolutionary composite shaft. Background of Development

While MCI is recognized by many golfers for its performance, necessity of special wedge shaft according to a set of MCI shafts is called for. It seems to be a trend that wedge clubs are dealt with single body sales and its shaft is heavy steel, and many golfers use it as it is. Taking a look into the wedge shaft, there seems to be not consistent in bend rigidity and bend point. This time Fujikura introduce 2 kinds of model by bend point, one is SOLID and the other is MILD. Product Concept

In developing this product, we analyzed the wedge shaft currently on the market. As a result, Fujikura found that the physical properties such as hardness and kick point are not consistent. Therefore, due to a new point of view that the wedge shaft should be able to be selected by the swing type, development started while reflecting the voice of the two staff whose swing type is true opposite.

MCT® (Metal Composite Technology)

Carbon shafts become hand center of gravity compared to steel shafts, which affects the swing weight of the club. If you wind a lot of fibers at the tip to improve it, the rigidity will be high and there is a harmful effect of impairing feeling. With the development of “MCT”, it became possible to balance both the adjustment of the position of the center of gravity of the shaft and the high controllability by “smooth motion” which is a feature of the carbon shaft.

Swing type suitable for “MCI SOLID”
